About Care

The Campaign for Africa Research and Education was initiated through a donation by Mr. Morton Hyman, then Chairman of Continuum Health Partners' Board of Trustees, to honor Dr. Munir Ghesani, his nuclear medicine physician.

The cancer rates in East Africa are high, and the death rates from cancer are even higher. Our campaign aims to deliver essential diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine expertise to enhance healthcare in East Africa. This initiative is particularly timely given the decline in international support in the region.
